Tiger Woods - Masters shot on 16th hole 2005

If he hit that same shot a hundred times he wouldn't make it.

Yep, a good first round.  I suppose the biggest news is Rory McIlroy and Alvaro Quiros (who I've never heard of) scoring -7.

Mickelson -2 and Woods -1 are still well within range.

Sergio Garcia is a bit of a surprise at -3 but he has 3 more rounds to take a dive.

And let's see what becomes of one of my all time favorites, Fred Couples -1.

At the other end of the leaderboard - #1 World Ranked Martin Kaymer +6.

Tiger's second round 66 (-7 overall) vaults him to third place, 3 strokes behind leader Rory McIlroy (-10) and one stroke behind Jason Day (-8).  He will play with KJ Choi (-7) in the penultimate group on Saturday.

Phil was even for the day, -2 for the tournament.

World #1 Martin Kaymer missed the cut at +6.

Tiger played a great round today and the shot he had on #18 was amazing.  Cool

I think we should start calling McIlroy, Tin Cup. Roll Eyes

My money is on Adam Scott right now. But anything is possible for the top seven.

Unbelievable collapse by Mcilroy, great push in the final round by Tiger... I almost thought he was going to pull it off!

Also a great win by Schwartzel, he deserved it.
