I am trying to get Firefox to "quite and save", but no mater what I do, when I start it up again, the windows that where saved do not auto load. Anyone got any ideas please.

sounds like another option is turned on.

I forget where it's at but there's also an option to clear all history when exiting? If it clears the history it probably doesn't retain that information?

just a thought.

I think that's the most likely reason. I have the "clear history" option enabled & never seen the "quit & save" prompt of which you speak.

This might help. http://support.mozilla.com/ta-LK/kb/Firefox%20does%20not%20ask%20to%20save%20tab...
