What if when MS Flight comes out they included something that if you crash a plane you must wait like 3-4 days for it to be repaired?

Just a thought. Grin

I would turn that setting off... Grin Sometimes I'm just in the mood for a certain plane, and after about two hours I end up with about 10 crashes... Grin Grin Grin But you're just asking them to build in FSPassengers, right? Good thinking... Smiley

well, even if you waited 1 hour.... if it was an addon aircraft, just delete it, run PROGRAM (sorry, cant say sim cause its not anymore), shutdown. reinstall, restart. go fly again.

OR.. for every flight that you make, you earn $5,000  (kind of like Passengers)... you have to PAY to fix your plane to be able to fly it again

Sometimes on FSX  when I have a fatal crash, I change the UI music to FSX03 (a sad kind of tune).

Even better, you could have random damage. We have a C 150 in the shop right now that needs a new aileron, flap and leading edge wing skin. All because a thunderstorm blew the hanger door in on it.

As for time tables. It took me two days to replace the control surfaces (it's harder than you might think) and another day to remove the old leading edge skin. It will be at least another day before the new one is riveted on. THEN it needs an annual. Wink

How about the plane actually crashing in a realistic way. (Lots of physics).

Where you tip the wing edge and it sheers off?  Grin

I agree though, better damage. If the landing gear is going to fail, it should. Currently you just sink, and probably get a crash screen for landing it. You should be able to land a damaged aircraft, and grind the paint realistically.

Also: An F-15E should fly with just one wing  Grin

Now that you mention it... Huh

But no. Don't think so. Can't see M$ stopping its later trend, putting the gear on reverse and disappoint their coveted target market only for the requests of the simmers. Lips Sealed

Simmers fly flight simulators. What is "Microsoft Flight?" A FLIGHT SIMUALATOR. Microsoft has made it crystal clear that they have not left out hard core users. I don't know what you're reading!  Roll Eyes

I don't know... those kind of promises seem a lot like the ones they bombasted with FSX... and... FIVE years later now (GOD ALMIGHTY how time passes) said "simulator" has yet to overcome its predecessor, and I'm not going to write "War and Peace II - the Return" to explain why... Tongue

...a trend, as I said... Undecided

Of course I want NOTHING BETTER than being disproved. We'll see.
