Hi guys, Sonic here from Flight Sim Nation. A few of us have gotten together and are in production of our first payware aircraft for FSX using SP2/Accelleration.

Thought I'd stop in and post some pics but keep in mind this is a work in progress. Cheers and enjoy.

Looks like a little plastic model. That can't possibly be the actual model that will be in the sim!  Shocked

It does look like a miniture model doesn't it. Freaked me out the first time I saw it. This isn't an in game shot of course but I'm hoping we can get close. The paint job is coming from Daniel Dunn who worked on the Dauntless I believe and the for sure the BN2 Islander.

The in game model has the same look as the BN2 Islander right now and we're just getting the bump and spec layers on this week so I'm anxious to see how close we get to the pics above in game.

Gorgeous model  Smiley

But we ask that you don't link your images.  Please upload them to SimV or it will slow the pages down for some of our users.  Thanks Smiley

why not make the ag model also? drop the floats and put wheels on that baby, and spray booms under the wings.

i spent a lot of time around 401's and 501's growing up, along w/ the cessna 188. and later on i got to hang around the 802's a bit.

there's also a weaponized version of the 802; its the 802U.  that'd be cool to see in the simulator.

your model looks great.
