Some airfields in FSX have been given a 'blind' Traffic announcing service when in reality they have, if not full ATC, an interactive Radio service.

Is it possible to edit the properties of an airfield to give it the interactive ATC service that the larger airports enjoy?

I believe AFCAD will allow you to install a "tower" at any airport, giving you ATC service.  I am not sure what you mean by an interactive radio service, in the US you either have a tower, or just use a common traffic advisory frequency (CTAF), just as FS has it.

What ever tool you use you will need to add some Com frequencies - in this case at least a Tower Frequiency.  You will also need at least one runway for ATC to work.  As far as I know it is the presence of one or more runways and one or more frequencies that activate ATC.  While generally there should be a 'Tower Viewpoint' at an airport I don't think it is required to get ATC.
