OK we're going live again on the new site ..... Cool

http://simviation.com/1/front-page

This is the start of the new site. More features/pages will be added (many upgraded from the old site) over the next days/ weeks.

Also we will be adjusting the files display on main page, etc ...

Other suggestions/feedback welcome!  Cool

Any problems please report.

Thank you,

Pete

Not really a problem, but the first time I looked at it there were 2 Real Aviation links. Now I see MS Flight links listed.

Edit: Okay, now I see what's going on. These links are the latest one in that particular forum either listed new or replied to.

We are now monitoring activity ...... as it gets busy ---- the only way to tweak the OS, etc .. a fine balancing act ....

It may take a few days to get it right ....

I like the new search engine Pete. One little problem. I can't download files from some of the results.

Examples:

http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=b-47E&categoryId=31

http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=F-86D.zip&categoryId=31&filenam...

Also all links on this page seem to be dead. http://www.simviation.com/1/browse-Military-34-151

My only concern is that the top banner looks quite heavily compressed.

Sure, SimV is meant to be suitable for people with a slower connection speed, but it kind of looks messy with the compression.

The rest of it looks brilliant.
