Goodly morning all... Smiley

Does anyone have some good cockpit shots of the V22 Osprey they can post in the photo section?

Interesting aircraft and we were talking to some folks who helped design it at the flying club...intersting information about concept was talked about.   Lips Sealed

Any pictures would be most appreciated of the inside as well... Wink

Here is something else we talked about...resemble anything...check out dates of first flight... Wink

Well, they're not for the photos section, but a search on Airliners.net gives these results:

Cool

Thanks for the link "B-Valvs".

The lads the other day at the flying club were discussing the power control unit..."Throttles" and I do not see what they were talking about in any of those shots.

There was also something about the control stick, but again I do not see exactly what they were talking about.

It looks to me as if that aircraft the Captain sits on the right, not sure.

I had one in FS9 Doug, but it's been so long, I don't remember details from the cockpit. But I think it might refer to the tilt of the rotors, which I believe was accomplished by flap settings on the FS9 version. I think the control stick may be similar to the collective in a helicopter.
I have wanted to get the Payware Wilco Tilt Rotor civilian bird for a while. It just has not risen quite high enough on the priorities list.....yet.  Roll Eyes

Edited:
I fired up FS9 for the first time in months. I had to reload the Osprey. No VC, 2d only, and not a very good looking model. I have really been spoiled by FSX and payware. But I think the Wilco Tilt Rotor just went to the top of the list.  Wink
I know it's not the Osprey, and it's a sim model, but here is a screenshot of the Wilco VC. I would imagine it to be similar to the Osprey as to contols.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks for the link Larry...interesting shot... Smiley

Anything that can take off straight up, fly backwards and sideways, turn 360 degrees on a point, do aerobatics is a real flying machine...the rest...oh...hum.... Grin

We have several Ospreys flying around here as they are part of AFSOC, and there was one at the last airshow I went to. But alas, there was a very long line to get inside it so I didnt bother. Or else Id have definitely taken some shots.

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.
