From a design perspective I think it's a very nice console, but my Xbox is doing just fine so I see no good reason to buy this. Yeah it's quieter and has a much larger hard drive, but my one is just fine too.


Renaming Natal to Kinect or whatever was a really bad idea though  Undecided

Looks very good and shiny! But not really much slimmer.

Bought an arcade in febraury for $189....with the USB support update, it's just fine.....

I would like it to be a little bit quieter tho'...

I have an arcade version of xbox and I wonder will I ba able to use Kinect or I should upgrade my console and buy this new slim version?

Arcade version probably won't have enough memory to install Kinect software, which is 190MB large. You'd also need a Kinect power supply to run it.

The new consoles have a Kinect power supply built in, and may even have the new software, I'm not entirely sure.


P.S, I now own a 250GB console. My old 20GB one packed in  Grin

I've got the Reach Edition and my word, it's silent!

Used to also have the 20GB Premium but I'm using that downstairs for Kinect.  Smiley
