More Bird Help: Poop Effect? (Read 957 times)

I was wondering if anyone would like to make a bird poop effect for my hawk. Grin  Inappropriate?? I think it would be funny to poo-bomb cars and other planes. Also, the bird itself can't take off under its own power, and makes smoke and skids to a stop when it lands, then it just gets to jumpy before it flips over and "explodes". I'd also love it to be able to land on water. A new .air file would be tons of help. Thanks!!

Not naming yourself after a runny, pink liquid would be about the right place . . . Tongue Wink  Just joking.

Check out the stock aircraft floatplane config file and look under the section titled "Contact Points".  It should give you an idea of what makes things float.

I think he probably wants to use the [SMOKESYSTEM] line, not the contact points.  Wink

Yeah, I know you need the effecxt, I was just telling Travis that you would use the smokesystem line. I don't see how the contact points apply travis?  Huh

By the way, strawberry, where did you get the hawk? (download link) I'm gonna take a look at the contact points etc to see if we can't fix that little skid and flip over problem so we no longer have a crazy kamikaze birdie.  Grin

A bird poo effect wouldn't be much use unless it was possible to make a poo-shaped mark on the object that it hit, and I'm not sure how you could do that!

I was thinking you could make it a droppable object and make an effect with a bird poo mark for impact.
