I'm having problems too.
I know they were "modifying" their log-in procedures, so we may have to create new accounts.  Undecided

A few days ago (20th), I got an email from 'webmaster@flightsim.com' advising of a temporary password - a mixed bag of lower/upper/numeric - to use for login to the 'new' system.  This worked and I immediately converted back to my usual password.

It's Crazy... Shocked...!

Trying to retrieve my account by giving my E-Mail address :
http://www.flightsim.com/RecoverPwd.php results in....

INVALID E-Mail Address!!

Even attempting to E-Mail the Flightsim Webmaster with details of the problem, results in a failed E-Mail process!....Good Grief!

Why don't they leave "things" alone. It worked perfectly OK before!

Arse!

Paul...Sim V and Avsim... Kiss...!

Was your account registered under your current e-mail address? I had no problems logging in at all. When I checked my account I found it was under my old Freeserve e-mail address from when I originally joined over 10 years ago. Shocked

If they'd tried to mail me a new password I obviously wouldn't have received it.

Yep, Doug...

I've been lucky enough to retain my old "Freeserve" E-Mail address since the Dawn of Time!... Kiss...!

Freeserve > Wannado > Orange....

My internet "connection" is now with Talk-Talk (6.5/8.0 Mb's ), changed from Orange, but my Freeserve E-Mail address is still with Orange. It has never changed, even since the days of Dial-up...(or the Dawn of Time, whichever was the earlier)...!

Paul.... Grin...!

P.S... I have now registered anew, using my old/original Name and Password, and was accepted without a clash, so they must have lost my previous details!!
...they mess with "things".... Wink... Grin...!

P.P.S...SeanTK was having similar problems.

I cannot log in either. Being a paying member (same as I am on SimV), I feel a little cross. Logging in with my username and password results in a 'unknown account' message. Hope they get it fixed soon.

For the life of me, I cant understand why they are messing with the Site, it was perfectly OK as it was before!
All my previous details, posts, etc, are now lost, and I am back to square one again!

Paul... I give up!... Angry...!

Seems that I can log on again since this morning. Tried it last night and was still unable but it's working again fine now. Maybe a glitch of somekind?

Eh, I just made a new account with a slightly modified log-in name and a newer email. No big deal now.
