Just today, I was playing STALKER, and I suddenly had had 3 fps vs. the 25 I had just a minute ago.  I know from experience that this is from my GPU getting well past 100 degrees Celsius (common on ASUS laptops.)  This does happen in other games, too.  I DID check my GPU overclocks, and I guess they were still at stock mhz from when I took them down the other day.  Despite what it seems, the settings are not the problem, as this can still happen (only after about 15 min of playing) when the settings are low.  What would help in keeping the GPU cool?  I can't exactly upgrade cooling, as this is a notebook.  Should I invest in one of those cooling pad things for laptops?  I can't change the case or any of those solutions for desktops, so I am kind of at a loss.  Any ides?  Thanks,

Grant
