Thanks Joe.  Smiley
I had that in favorites, but I failed to name it properly and had forgotten about it. And I am not quite ready for FSX repaints yet. But browsing his gallery, even though it is only Christen Eagles at this time, is well worth the time. But I will never be that good. I can only dream.  Sad

Getting that good just takes practice patchz, so less dreaming, more practicing.  Wink

In all seriousness, the person who did those repaints wasn't that good when he started doing them. He probably has plenty of repaints he doesn't show on that site that aren't as good.

It's all about learning technique, learning the tools, and finding well made models... you'll get there, just stick at it, and be determined.  Smiley

Maybe so Lee, but your knowledge and abilities far exceed mine and I welcome all the help I can get. Thanks.  Smiley

Knowledge is free and I have no problem sharing anything I know, if it helps.

The beauty of working in game dev teams is the sharing of knowledge to increase the skills of the whole team. I feel the same way about community creativity. The more knowledge that gets shared, the better the whole community becomes... and that can only be good for the people who are part of that community surely.

And you are right, up to a point. But there is a certain amount of inherent talent involved. I have some, but I don't think it is the same level as his, or yours for that matter. But I will keep trying to improve and learn more. And I think as the community ages, the overall quality of design and texture files will continue to improve, which will help us all. And I would rather be where I am, striving for improvement that at the top, with nowhere else to go.  Wink

Edited:
I just took a look at your site and I think those two 2d drawings prove my point about inherent talent. And with a mouse, no less. Very impressive. I have a graphics tablet and I can't come close to that level of artistry. Trust me, I've been trying for years.  Grin

Well said, and I agree completely. Thank you. I am glad you are a part of the community, as it is a better place for it.  Smiley
