That's right FS9ers, there will be an update to the airport that includes room for our FS2004 flyers.

When I started the project, ADE did not have FS9 capabilities, but now that it does, I can try this.

Although ADE now has FS9 capabilties, it is still fairly limited, so I will be working with Capt.Propwash, who has a whole bunch (very technical terms here) of scenery design tools.

This project will be an expansion pack for the original, meaning the current airports will be used, but more hangars will be added. This should make multiplayer very fun.

There are now 8 new hangar positions available, for people flying in FS9 only. If you missed out on a hangar last time and you also have FS9, now is your chance.

The "Expansion Pack" will also include some fixes to issues discovered in the original release. There will also be some improvements, such as an ILS and VOR at each airport.

Here is the current sign up status:

1. Capt.Propwash
2. Mazza
3. patchz
4. JakesF14
5. Jisco
6. ApplePie
7. Fozzer
8. SeanTK

There are only 7 positions left FS9ers, so hurry if you want a spot.

All spots are now full.

Mods, please make this a Sticky with the other one, thanks.

Cool

I know I already have a FSX spot, but if you wind up needing to fill a spot here, I'd gladly take one for my FS9 usage. But only if there is a vacant spot.  Wink

It would go perfectly with my FS9 Simviation airports in New York and Europe.  Cool

I've added the ILS and VOR in ADE, and there are already helipads. You can deffinately edit the frequencies when I send you the files, but that won't be until the list is complete so I can finish the taxisigns. I also need the terrain fixed, but we talked about that already.

I can add beacons in ADE, but I don't know if they work, so I'll leave that up to you.

Cool

One is in Arizona, and one is in Nevada.

There are also two FS9 Simviation airports,

one off the coast of New York -  http://www.simviation.com/fs2004scenery107.htm

FS2004 'Simviation International Airport' USA V1.0 (SIMV) (Beta version).  Located in the Long Island Sound between New York and Connecticut, Simviation's first airport has loads of fun runways, plus Two Concorde shaped terminals and a military hanger with doors that open at a certain frequency. The Terminal and Military hanger are by Jessy Corrales, the animated hanger doors are by Richard Stermer and the AFCAD designing and creation of the airport are by me, Ryan Murphy. Thanks everybody for making this airport possible. 254K

and one in Europe - http://www.simviation.com/fs2004scenery109.htm

FS2004 'Simviation' Airport Europe..  This airport is identical to the simple 'Simviation USA' airport but this one is loacated in the UK instead. Enjoy this airport. Credits to myself, Ryan Murphy, for the AFCAD designing and creation of this airport and credits also to Richard Stermer and Jessy Corrales for making Concorde shaped concourse and military hanger. 175K

For the two I linked to, The USA one is SIMV and the European one is SIME

None of these are real airports.  I'm not sure what Brandon's ICAO codes for his in FS9 will be.

Don't worry about the other ones, this is for my airports that were made for FSX. I am now making an FS9 version. There are no pre-existing ones for FS9, so there are no maps, but here are some shots:

Quote:
It's basically done. I just need to work out some hangar placement issues. Here's some shots:

Arizona:

Nevada:

I wish there was a way to make the hangars wide but not so tall.  Cry You can see that these are big enough to turn around in a 737. You can see the placement issue too. They come up a few feet above where they should. I just need to play around with that to fix it. Other than that I just need to asign hangars (alphabetically) and it's done.

Frequency check::: Approach, Clearance Departure, Ground... and any others that might be needed.  (I don't think I can change the frequencies of the hangars.. but I will look into it none the less)
