Hi,

Thank's NickN for a very easy and good manual on how to set Window XP and FSX, and I have notice a very big improvment in speed, but I thing I have to tweak my proccessor so that FSX runs as fastes as I cane do without buying a complite new computer (64bits).

I have never done any overclocking so I need help with what program to use and how to set it up so it wont start burnig (LOL)

Here are my system taken from Belarc:

Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 2 (build 2600)
with all updates

HP Pavilion 061 EW047AA-ABS m7460.se 0nx0114RE101AMETM00
System Serial Number: CZB6150FZ3 SV620
Enclosure Type: Desktop

2,20 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64
256 kilobyte primary memory cache
2048 kilobyte secondary memory cache

Board: MSI AMETHYST-M 1.0
Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 3.47 03/03/2006

1453,82 Gigabytes Usable Hard Drive Capacity
958,10 Gigabytes Hard Drive Free Space

3328 Megabytes Installed Memory

NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT [Display adapter]

I have also upgrade my power unit from output=300 to 450-500 as my graphic card need it.

I have bought PMDG MD-11 for FSX and follow theres suggestion to use 4GB patch as I'm running XP in 32 bits.

I hope that you cane help me or someone who know what to use and do.

Try the Overclocking section instead of the FSX section. You'll get more exposure to people who are interested in Overclocking etc..

Besides a Mod will move the thread anyway, might as well put it in the correct spot to begin with  Wink

Welcome to Sim-V!  Good luck with the OC!!  Cool

Edit:

Told you it would be moved!
