Yeah.... that whole "terriorist" subject is "weird" when it comes to home cockpits.  It appears that these days "paranoia" abounds.  Roll Eyes

He probably was making a joke........ but too many folks would possibly look at this hobby and have a little niggling "worry" in the back of their mind about "that guy next door with the cockpit in his basement".

Doesn't surprise me. Read an article today stating that 4000 aircraft had been auctioned at AMARC, including trainers such as T-34s, of which many fly in civilian hands already. So paranoid are "the powers that be" post 9/11, that all the aircraft were sold on the proviso they are scrapped on site, and no part larger than 10cm x 10cm remains. Roll Eyes
