I saw one at my local computer fair the last time I went.. it was a ridiculously low price.  If I see one this sunday (4th Nov) I might pick one up for you.. however you'd have to reimburse me for the purchase and postage  Wink
PM me if you're interested.

Y'know, the best thing about 2000 was the book! I learned to fly out of thatbook before I went to real life flight school. VORs were a piece of cake after that book.

You can study them whilst tucked up nice and cosy in bed!...Wink...!

It took a while to find this thread again....

My 8 y.o. son is now showing some interest and aptitude for flying the sim, and I dug out that FS2000 Pro manual for him to read. It's sitting right here in the box full of Jeppesen manuals, charts, and approach plates.

I reloaded FS2000 pro to see how aged it is.  Mmmmm. It doesnt' recognize much of my hardware, oh, yeah.... no VC.... Wow.

I'd say ebay would be a good bet to find a copy -- but 2002 was much better -- 2000 was full of bugs -- released too early, etc and came under much criticism. They released at least one major patch.

The FS2000 addons started to have VC's - in fact I made at least one heli with dynamic VC for FS2000 - Gazelle.

Yep...

No doubt, ....FS 2002 was a really big improvement over FS 2000....

...in fact, it took me ages to drag myself, kicking and screaming, away from FS 2002, to load up my (then) new copy of FS 2004... Shocked..... Grin....!

FS 2004 suits me fine now, and runs quite happily on my out-dated computer.... Wink...!
(FSX is still waiting in my bottom drawer).... Roll Eyes...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Nav...and a FS 2000 Manual... Smiley...!
