Krigl raises hand at the back of the class and jumps up and down frantically - Me!! Me!! Putting some more shots in shortly  Smiley
This and Morrowind are the only games I play apart from FS.... usually anyway.

Screenshooting tip - press ~ and call the console up. Type TM and press ~ again. The crosshair and HUD stuff will disapppear - a clear screen results. Want the HUD back - repeat the process ( ~, TM, ~) and you'll have it back.

Dave - it's a roleplaying fantasy first person game - huge world, very slow gameplay - go where you want, fight where you want etc. It's a bit like a 'fantasy world simulator' with a MASSIVE amount of mod resources available online to customise your game. That's why I love it so much!! Because you can change your character with a bit of fiddling, mod everthing from clothes to cities to sky to companions to monsters to gameplay to.... it's basically an endless game - like FS.... or chess and the other classic board games which you never get tired with....

What is the actual name of the game?

I see oblivion mixed in with "elder scrolls" and different versions?

Can I have a link please?

Thanks a lot. I did not know that.

I see, it is an expansion pack so you need the "base pack" first, correct?

Oops we posted at the same time. Grin Yes you need the original game before you can get Shivering Isles.

Correct.

"Oblivion" is the Fourth game in the series known as "Elders Scrolls". It's predecessor is considered one of the greatest RPG's of all time (Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind).

"The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" currently has a single Expansion pack (Shivering Isles), and a bonus pack called "Knights of the Nine", I believe. It includes a bunch of add-ons you can purchase from Bethesda (The games creators). Both the expansion, and add-on package require the original game Wink

I have Shivering Isles installed but haven't got there yet. It's supposed to be completely demented - in the best possible way - bizarre stuff all over, psychedelic colours, mad spells.... and the mad demon prince Sheogorath, whom you serve!!

My vanilla Oblivion is heavily modded now, and it has the variety of countryside and architecture that the vanilla game was lacking, so I'm not in a hurry to get to Shivering Isles... I  expect it will take another month to get there... but will post  screenshots of course.

If you don't mod right off the bat it goes in this order....

Oblivion

The Knights Of Nine

Shivering Isle's

These are what you need (to include any patches) to have the complete "base" Oblivion experience, which by itself is alot to do. I play alot although as of late I am in between several games both PC and PS3. Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion won several awards last year to include most addicting game of 2006............They weren't wrong Grin
