Hello Again,

Been looking for cheaper ways to integrate gauges and controls into my sim pit. Basically right now Im thinking of using FS Panel Studio and Flight Sim Manager(Lan View) to build custom gauges where need be. The cool thing about this setup, yet to be tested, is you can setup panels in the left, right, top, bottom etc etc... and install them to specific aircraft. Using Lan view(FS Manager) you can setup each client PC to start in those respected views. My hope is my cockpit will automatically update to whatever aircraft I select. Using FS Panel Studio I can also get rid of the 2d cockpit on startup. Of course each client will need to run fs but the hardware requirements will still be low because Ill only be displaying a panel.

Does anybody see a problem with this approach? I could also substitute WideView if FS Manager isnt up to the task. If it work it will give me an unlimited amount of FS gauges.

Thanks

Might also be good to rember that you can get Xbox's quite cheep now and with a mimum of effort you can get it to run Lynux.
Bung a big HDD in there if you wont to or what ever and all tho it wont be up to runing too mutch it shoud be able to run the display for a Pannel in FS9/SFX.
