Problems using the Tornado ADV's (Read 3006 times)

i have a problem, everytime i download a tornado ADV (F3 variant) from the download section, it doesnt want to show up in either FS98 or CFS  Angry , does anyone else have this problem, or is there some way to fix it?
 

current sims:
FS2004 - FSX
addons: flight deck 4/5, carrier strike force, international fighters, fighter pilot 2,...

FS design Studio 2, FS Repaint V2.23

Also, if its not *specifically* for FS98 or for CFS1, you're out of luck.  THe model formats for the later versions are not backward compatible.,

This is not entirey so, Felix, with all FS2k, FS2k2 and CFS2 third party planes. It depends upon the formatting for textures and the .air files. If the .mdl is linked to standard bitmaps then all textures can be (if not) reformatted to 256 color, 256x256 pixel bitmaps (24bit and/or 512x512 won't work). The other, usual and most necessary, procedure is to modify or replace the .air file for FS98/CFS1 compatibility.
