I am the poor soul Buzzard is reffering to.It seems after 10 to 20 seconds after starting a multi swap mission the computer locks up ,sometimes the screen goes black, sometimes not. Also, the three lights on the keyboard start flashing, about the speed the front panel light would when system is in hibernation mode, but I dont use hibernation, and its disabled. System specs are: AMD athlon 1.8 gig,640 megs of RAM,geforce 6200 oc video card. I do have original disc,as I did buy the game,,but I use a no cd patch,as the disc is very old. Could this be causing the problem?

Hi Gwar,
It won't be the crack as it's been proven to work with just about any add-on you could imagine for CFS1 over the years since its' release.

I don't know the problem you're having but I have an idea of what it may be related to so I'm going to ask some questions to see if we can track it down.
Which operating system are you using?
Do you have multiple drives?
Is CFS1 installed to the default location?

Sorry m8.
Been a bit tied up.
Does it only happen in CFS1 multi-swap missions or has it happened at other times as well?

I'm wondering if it might be related to a conflict with your graphics card drivers.

Undecided   So far it's only happened using the multi-swap. I've updated my sound and graphics drivers, and as of now have flown one complete mission,(sadly enough,I was shot down by a BF-109 over the channel).
I'm hoping it was just a matter of a corrupt file. But I do appreciate your prompt responses and all your help so far. Cheesy  I'll be sure to keep you posted of my continued efforts in chasing down this bug.
Once again,thank you very much.

Okay,
Done a bit of research with this over the weekend.
There appears to be a version of Multi-Swap which doesn't work with Windows 2000 or XP.
I'm assuming this must be the version you have.

There is a newer version which is kind of like multi-swap bundled with a few other files called MPSU.

I have found a copy of it but can't link to it as it's on a comptetitor's site.
Thus, I shall send you the link via PM.

Hope this works for you.
Make sure to read any README files that come with it.
