Hi Chaps, havent spoke in a long time!

Hope everyone is doing well etc, and i would just like to say that this part of the forums is brilliant, many fantastic tips and ideas, and a great place to hang around and read some pretty cool stuff. Congratulations to Clipper, and the rest for their FULL support in this, i know that Clipper is a very artistic screenshot taker, and i feel that his and everyone elses support will encourage people to the art of screenshot taking.

I very big thanks Chaps 8)

Now, to my question.... >>>>>>

I always love taking screenshots,  but sometimes i wish i could add a border to my shots to improve them, and to make the atmosphere and essence stand out.

I was wondering, if there is any free application which lets you add a border to an image?

Many thanks in advanced for any help, and i really appreciate it.

Hope everyone has a great day. Smiley 8)

Adding a border does make the shot look better. However, in the rules for the freeware forum it says 'no enhancement of any kind' or something like that - or at least it did last time I looked. So you might get your pictures moved...

Edit: I just checked and it says no such thing, so you should be alright with borders in freeware these days.

I agree, this is a great forum. Well done to Clipper and the others who made it happen!

Hi Chaps, many thanks for the reply.

Ive had a look at Picasa and Infranview and ive had a look around in both apps, and i still cannot find anything which would allow me to add a border..

Any further help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Your're going to have to pay for an editing suite. Paintshop Pro 8 can be bought in GAME for £20. Otherwise its Photoshop which is rather more expensive.
