Now for Friday's edition of "Studio V's Daily Hotshot".....what does screenshot talent produce today?

RAF Causes Hurricane Over Hillside

...

Pic - Omag's first pic from his thread "Merlin over Malta - Leg 3 - Milkshake!"
What caught my attention on this pic was the incredible detailing in the Hurricane, the foreground and the way that the hills in the background fade into the distance. The light weather adds a "warm / summer" feeling to the pic, like a hot day, and the Hurricane adds the final piece to this scenic jigsaw. Nice job with this one Omag!

Any comments you want to add?

Lovely pic, totally agree, the slight haziness in the hills gives a real sense of humidity. Well captured Omag!

As usual, Omag puts across some ultra crisp and original screenshots. The detailing in the distance may be from an FS9 custom configuration that was circulating around our forums a few months ago. Not sure, maybe Omag can confirm. If anyone would like that configuration, let me know and I'll post it here at the Studio. It's a real crowd pleaser offering visual crispness at a much greater distance than you're probably accustomed to. Beautiful shot Omag!  Smiley

Wow, first time I dwell in this forum, to find this! A very nice surprise!

I'm not entirely shure on the configuration I use. A while ago I found a site where they explained different configurations for VFR and high-level flight. The site went down unfortunatly...

I've also experienced lot's of trouble with my V-card drivers... The weather comes from the Silver Wings package! The nice day-scheme. The foggy cover on the ground makes it a lot more realistic in my mind, and eases on the groundtextures, as my v-card isn't exactly high end!
