Hi Guys

I have been running twin monitors for some time now. I mainly use my second for the radio stack, gps etc. I now have two aircraft that have co-pilots panels. I have been experimenting with this and it seems to work well. However, how do I get the pilots view and co-pilots view on the respective screens? I have been using a virtual cockpit window and dragging that to the co-pilots screen, but what you have on one is already on the other. So that I get two different view sides of the panel windows and thus the outside world crossing one screen and then entering the other, are we talking about more than one computer or is it possible with just one.

Thanks

Matt

I've been running 2 panel and 3 panel set ups with a single PC: using Matrox parhelia  graphics cards  and nVidia Quadro FX graphics cards. I set the graphics to Span Mode so that I get a resolution of 1200X3200 for 2 screens or 1024x3840 for 3 screens. For twins seat aicraft I then make custom panels which include both the Pilot and Co-Pilot (2 screens) or Pilot, Centre, Co-Pilot for 3 screens.
FS2004 then sees the 2/3 screens as a single graphics space and fills them accordingly, ie I get Pilot on one screen and co-pilot on the other and the outside world spans across all monitors.

regards

Jim

Thanks Jim, I will give it a try.

Matt

Edit

OK, gave it a try. XP recognises my monitors as one big screen, however FS does not. Am I missing a switch or setting within the Sim setup, or is this a wiondows problem Embarrassed

You need to go into Settings-Display-Hardware and choose one of the Wide display settings eg
2048x768
2560x1024
etc

(Sorry for the delayed reply - been away from home on business and couldn't find a wi-fi hotspot!)
