lol I have no ads, no pop ups, absolutely nothing. Neither am I a premier member here. Get the right tools and you never have to put up with such greviences, Wink

& you must also acknowledge that this is one reason I struggle to pay for this. Low ad performance could cause the end of SimV.

Here is the way I see it...

Pop ups and ads are no bother to me. None at all. Pop unders do annoy me. I am aware FireFox kills many pop ups, that's why I always try to click on an ad and simply close it when the page is fully loaded.

Clicking it does not sign you up for anything, but it does give the website some money.

Hey Pete, you know what I've seen a lot of websites doing recently? When I go to their downloads or forums the page, instead of showing where I want to go, says something along these lines:

Thanks for visiting our website so and so section. Unfortunately, in order to keep running our free service we need your help. Please click on one of the ads below and maybe even buy one of their products.

and there are like 2 ad banners there. On the bottom of the page it says: To continue to so and so section click here.

Hey a popular website that does this is Gamespot!
