Well, I did it, I built a proto type of a 109 g-6 instrument panel.  It looks absolutely terrible LOL.

I was wondering what the best kind of paint to use is.  I bought two cans of gray spray paint but it did not come out well at all.  It was very shiny and ugly.  I also used old beat up ply wood and did not sand it down but next time I will use MDF.

Should I just stick to the spray paint?  Or is the old roller method best?

thanks

Spray paint is your best bet. Check out some sites that cover the hobby scene, they frequently will have pages dedicated to painting techniques.
