In the list of assignable commands for FS2004 there are a set of EGT commands:

EGT
EGT1_DEC
EGT1_INC
EGT1_SET
EGT2_DEC
EGT2_INC
EGT2_SET
EGT3_DEC
EGT3_INC
EGT3_SET
EGT4_DEC
EGT4_INC
EGT4_SET
EGT_DEC
EGT_INC
EGT_SET

I imagine that they are something to do with the Engine as there are four of them but beyond that I am clueless.

Any help greatfully appreciated.

Will

*Mod note.  I have posted this query in the FS2004 forum as well.  Apologies if this is spamming Embarrassed

Exhaust Gas Temperature

Just a parameter for engine management and for leaning your mixture.

The _set  _inc  _dec commando's suggest that you could influence them.
Would not know what's the reason for it.

This is a parameter that you would like to read from the sim to make an EGT gauge.
But an EGT input would not make sense.
(perhaps for an instructor station to induce failures)
