Hi,

I have been flying the Airbus A320-200 by Project Airbus I Downloaded this file pa_a320_lufthansa.zip from AVSIM Online File Library, and I am happy with it, but when I taxi next to other planes I can see the Airbus is much bigger than the others, The airbus is the same size or even bigger as a 747. I was just wording what A320 are you flying and what can you recommend and if you have any idea why it is so big?

I am using the MARCIANO panel and I love it - radar, auto landings and so much more, I never use the FS 2004 build-in GPS.

You comments on the Plane size would be appreciated.

Hanseu1,

did you mean to type 747, or were you thinking 737?  The A320 is dwarfed by the 747, but is roughly the same size as the 737.
It may just be a perspective thing that makes it 'look' as though you're a similar size as 747; an in-cockpit view is pretty high up from the tarmac, and depending on what your 'view distance' percentage setting is, it could possibly make the aircraft in front appear smaller than they really are.  Just go park your A320 next to a 747 and switch to an outside view...you should get some idea of the sizes!!
And Yep!  The iFDG A320 is brilliant Smiley

Thanks, I downloaded the iFDG, and it is the same size. So it must be bigger than I expected!!

I park it next to 747 and it was about 2/3 the size of the 747.

Thanks for you replies.

I will now fly the iFDG, even though it seams to have less power and the one from  Project Airbus.

The ifdg does not at this point, but if you look at the forums on thier site, you note that they are working on one.  It is quite amazing looking as well.  It wiill be a future release- it was my understanding that they wanted to get the A320 out to the FS world as soon as they were done with it and then add on later.

that would be awesome if they put a VC model out, unfortunately I had nothing but problems trying to get the posky a320 with the VC working in FS9
