Well, more progress on my World War II mod, and lately I've been focusing on architecture more than anything.

I've finally cut Italy out of the plan, since it'd be just so abysmally hard to find anything good they had in the war. Tongue (Hey here's a joke: The Italian Army! Ha! Tongue)

Here's the List so far:
  • Russia: As seen on the Kremlin and many of their churches.  Gaudy spirals and such.
  • Japan: Padogas and assorted Asian styles. (Thai)
  • Germany: To make this interesting proved a challenge, for the time being, I'm making Germany follow the architecture style of this one building Hitler planned to make.  I forgot the name, but I remember clouds were supposed to form in it.

America and Britain are still up in the air.  Up 'till about a month ago, these two proved to be very boring.  White stone (Like the White House) and Romantic (like Parliament).  In my trip in Chile, during which much brainstorming took place, it dawned on me.  This isn't something to be taken seriously, so why not use non government styles?  So, now I plan to use Art Deco or Googie* for America.  Are there any equally interesting architecture styles in Britain for about this period.

PS: I hate being politically correct, but it never fails.  We always look out for the hypothetical person.  I know Italy fought hard, but on the whole, the machines were inadequate and the men unmotivated and poorly led.

*Yes, Googie is after World War II, but it still has that Roaring Twenties/Great Depression/World War II connotation.
