Hey guys,

I would like to know if anyone has Active Camera 2004 and the new force feedback utility.  I'm looking to buy one of them, cause I don't have any more money, which one would you recommend?  I know the FSForce is about US$35.  Please could someone tell me how much the active camera 2004 is?

Thanks,
Greg

I don't know what the Force Feedback utility is, but I would save your money on the active camera.  Buy a plane or scenery.  In my opinion, we can live without the active camera.

Back when AC was freeware, I had it for 2002.  I haven't purchased the payware release for FS9, but I've considered it.

If you're looking to save some money though, here's a trick, though it can be a bit time consuming because you've gotta reset it every time you want to get the "flyby" that Active Camera provides.

Just move your tower view (click and drag the icon on the map) to where you want to see it, usually a little in front of the plane.  Then set the altitude for about the same as your aircraft.

It's not as good as activecamera, but it will give you the same effect for screenshots.  It all depends how much you rely on Active Camera.  Shocked)
