looks like a fake picture of an F-16 pasted onto a real background.  if that were a real aircraft, I would think because it is in a fairly steep climb, you'd see the afterburners or at least the exhaust.

I would have to say that it is Kirk Ollsen's Viper on a real background. Or possibly the background is the 18mb forest, desert, land add on scenery.
In any case michael, it should be in the Graphic Gallery.

Looks to me like the F-16 Viper with the Southern California Megascenery add-on.

I have decided its definatly a real picture. Look at the canopy. You can see that the background contours continue through the glass of the canopy. If it was a cut out flightsim model then that would be so would it? Tongue

I think to the uninitiated it would look real enough.  People who do not play FS are not quite used to the high level of detail our planes have, and quite frankly, FS isn't even on their minds so why would they suspect.  There is nothing in the picture that is unusual, so why would anyone fake it?  I say nice job... Cheesy

For the record, I say it's one photo pasted on another.

I would say the lack of heat shimmers coming from the exhaust pretty much gives it away. Tongue

Yep, a FS plane on a real background I think. I may be, and probably am, completely wrong, but who cares?

Its fake. I have seen that scenery before. Its the California VFR add on and the plane is definately Kirk Olssen's Viper. I use it 10 times a day and recognise every little jaggy.
Great job though!
