Well after reading that Ozzy needed a "Warbird fix" I thought I'd try and help out. It's difficult to find any shots on my HD that I've not posted before so a couple of repeats here.
Photos of aircraft belonging to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. All taken by me Grin
...
BBMF's Hurricane IIc LF363 shortly after its full rebuild. I took this shot (and the next one) by ducking outside the BBMF hanger during a tour back in 1997.
...
Spitfire MkIIa P7350, worlds oldest airworthy Spitfire.
...
Douglas DC3 (C-47) Dakota ZA947 at Duxford in 2002.
...
Squadron Leader Paul Day (OBE AFC) OC BBMF getting Spitfire LF MkIXe MK356 ready for a flypast outside the BBMF hanger at Coningsby.
...
Not really a BBMF aircraft this but it's an ex-BBMF plane. Spitfire PR MkXIX PS853 was sold off to pay for the rebuild of Hurricane LF363. This aircraft has been modified to take a Griffon engine from an Avro Shakleton.
...
Spitfire MkVb AB910 in its 2003 colour scheme posing as AB502 IR-G the personal mount of Wing Commander Ian R Gleed. Taken at Duxford's Flying Legends airshow.
...
Avro Lancaster B1 PA474, BBMF flagship, displaying at Waddington 2003.
...
Posing as a 152 Squadron (SEAC) MkXIV, BBMF's PR MkXIX PS915 at Flying Legends 2000.

Sorry for the poor quality of a couple of these but with my scanner bust I had to use old scanned versions of a couple of these from my HD rather than the good quality original photos.

Fido old pal, click on this link for some of my Lancaster photos that I've taken over the last couple of years. http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=photos;action=display;num=...

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll try to find a few more that I've not posted before. I really must get a new scanner!

Nice to see Paul Day again-I knew him as a Flying Officer on 229 OCU- Chivenor in the early '70's(Hunter F 6).
He arrived back on the flight line after a friendly dogfight with a Capt McFarlane(U.S Xchange),stood up in his cockpit and yelled 'Hey Mac-that may be good enough over Viet Nam but it sure dont impress me over
Hartland Point!'
Great character-down to earth and epitomised the B of B spirit.
(Wonder what happened to his Triumph Herald  ???)
