If money were not an object (and I'm not implying it is not for me) what addons or addon packages would you buy to enhance the scenery, or performance, or aircraft inventory for FS2002.

Thanks in advance for your replies.   Smiley

Apollo;

Money is no object in my case!
I will not buy payware, If I state
my reasons it will cause a lot of
flak!
Therefore, the stand I take is
                                                                          over here
                                                                           out of
                                                                           the way!
                                                                                  Grin
This will probably be moved to payware
but will be interesting to read where ever it is!

X Cheesy

That's hilarious. Grin

Like X, I'm in the fortunate position of being able to afford to purchase any addon I wish. Apart from specialised design programs like FS Design Studio I have never felt the need for payware myself. I have no objection to it in principle but have always been committed to freeware.

If money wasn't a problem...hmmmm...probably only the Lago F-16.  That's the only payware aircraft that's ever intersted me a lot... Wink...

Well, I suppose the Vulcan too, only becasue the proceeds go to a good cause! Smiley

I keep watching the payware stuff and really have seen only about 2 of anything that I would pay for and the only two that stick in my mind are aircraft.
As has been said many times before, the decision,in the end,is entirely up to you.

I don't mind paying for quality add-ons, although I hold payware to higher standards than freeway and don't feel the same gratitude as I do toward those great individuals who work solely for the benefit of the whole community.

Anyways, I have paid for all of the following and don't regret a single dollar (in fact, prorated over the hours I've flown, they add up to just a few cents per hour flight):  FSNav, Activesky wxRE, FSD Gmax Cheyenne 400, FS Flightkeeper, Reality XP Garmin 530 GPS.    The Cheyenne requires a high end machine (I didn't know this originally and had to upgrade the machine) and the Garmin is a resource hog too (but well worth it to upgrade your memory).  I also have 2 SimFlyer airports near my home that I use home base.

Some time ago (FS 2000) I also owned Jeppeson SinCharts.  I loved the program for planning approaches and being able to taxi around airports, but they did not have an upgrade path to FS 2002, so I haven't used it for a year or so (I could probably send it to someone if they're interested.  I'm not using it.  Is anyone still using 2000?) .  I've toyed with buying the new version, but it is (overly) pricey and the Garmin does some of its functions.

As you can probably tell, I tend toward enhancing realism viz a/c flight dynamics and flight planning/navigation.  Other folks prefer diversity in a/c or more eye candy scenery.    All a matter of taste!

The only time money is an issue is when it is time to upgrade the machine!  Other than that if I didn't buy so many addons, I would probably be able to afford the upgrade to my machine.

anything military(modern)

addons is where all my "extra" money goes to. Right now maybe on film for airshows. Last development was $35 for 7 rolls, another 15 to buy 8 rolls.

But I3D will be seeing alot of my money as well as Lago. I find both of their product worth every penny I've worked for. I consider this my support to them  Wink

If there is an airshow with in 2 states of me I'm there&&...&&&&

I bought the TLUK Lightning Fmk.2 and almost bought the Lago F-16 for the refueling program, I'd consider a really good Harrier if I didn't know there were a few near compleation, and if I could I'd buy the Vulcan as its for a good cause.
