Try a search of the file libraries for an FS2002 version.

It's also not unusual to find a website address in the scenery author's readme file where you might find a more uptodate version. It would be worth getting the FS2000 version just to see, and you could also e-mail the author to enquire if not.

To answer your last question, the FS2000 scenery will almost certainly work. I even have some FS98 scenery running in FS2002.

There are a number of add-on sceneries for NY right here at SimV. I downloaded a couple a few months ago for heli pilots, which really enhanced the waterfront area. If you can specify what things you would like to see and post it in the other add-ons wanted forum I'm sure someone can help.

Do you have your Autogen and dynamic scenery settings turned up? I've got trees and buildings all over Manhattan

I have all settings turned all the way up with a Geforce 4 Ti4800. It just seems that Manhattan needs some fill in done.

So does anybody know if the update for FS2000 work with FS2002??

Scenery downloads for FS2000 WILL work in FS2k2.  The textures may not be as pretty tho' and if they are auto install they may need path names adjusting to reflect the new Sim title.
