Flickering addon scenery (Read 614 times)

Hi everyone,

I downloaded a nice Kansai (RJBB) scenery from SurClaro, here:

http://surclaro.com/nuke/html/download.php?op=getit&lid=5897

I'm using FS2002. The problem is that the scenery, while nice looking, flickers. I don't think it's a video issue since the airports I have created and others I have downloaded are flicker-free. My guess is that there is a conflict with the scenery that is already there. So, I tried to make an exclusion file w/Airport 2.6, and added a flatten area with that program as well. I also tried entering a flatten and exclude command manually in scenery.cfg. No success on either end. Any suggestions?

The only other version of Kansai I have found is way too frame rate heavy for my computer. Thanks for any suggestions!

Shaun

I wish I knew. I'm designing scenery at the moment and it is plagued by flickering, I've been trying to seperate the texture layers and ordering them, but so far no luck.

I'm working on it lol.
