Hey,

Today at approximately 2:00 am (Israeli time [+02 GMT]) an Israeli Air Force Socata TB-20 (Hebrew nickname: "Pashosh") crashed on short final in Sde-Dov airport in Tel-Aviv after returning from a night-training-flight.

Unfortunately, the pilot, who was very experienced according to IAF's officials, died in the crash.

The newspapers in Israel report that the cause to the accedent was probably, again, technical.

This is the first Israeli Air Force pilot who got killed in the last three years.

I would like to express my sorrow about the accident and my hope that this chain of accidents will stop.

Here is the picture of the Pashosh:

Crumbs Liran, what is happening. You guys lost that F16 the other week too. I'm sure we all wish to extend our deepest sympathies.
