hi all

all this network business is new to me,
i just purchased a new computer a AMD 2100+ and it had Win XP on it, i have my old computer the P3 800 connected to ADSL internet.

Now i want my new computer the AMD to be able to access this internet from the P3 800.

i purchased the Asus A7V8X mobo which has built in LAN and i purchased a network card which i put in the P3800
i also got a 2 metre network cable and connected the two computers up,

but i am at a loss as how to get the AMD access to the internet,

i tried the XP network wizard but still cant get the AMD to access the internet.

The P3 800 computer has the PPPoE protocol

regards
Clayton
