In preparation for my RTW trip, I did a short 2 hour flight from Calgary, Alberta (my home town) to Kelowna, British Columbia. Beautiful flight across the Rocky Mountains...

Taking off in a snow storm from Calgary...

Approaching the Rockys all covered in snow..(good skiing this year btw)

Flying over a lake high up in the mountains...

There was a storm right over the airport...

I finally saw the runway out the window!
