Hi everyone, new to this forum, but am a regular on certain other sites. I am hoping some of you Guy's can help where no others have been able to as yet.

If I install the CFS3 patch, 3.1, and I try to go into a multiplayer game, it just crashes and boots back to my desktop at the loading stage. No trace that the game has ever been running.

I have tried a fresh install, without a no-cd crack, but to no avail.

Obviously, most people on M/P now have 3.1, so I find I can get into very few games.

Everything runs fine on the normall installation without the patch.

Thanks in advance.

'ello M8,
Yes , I have several lines in several threads here, with the same thing posted. I have emailed M$  , but no reply  from them.
Terrorists run CFS3. buy stock in aspirin. I also have the patch, like what it said it would do... but dont like what it did.
I also have the no-cd crack , tried it all ways now, with patch, w/o crack, with crack... seems you need a separate HD to install the game 5 different ways , and hope one  of the installs will match the room you want to fly.
I dont believe this ... it has to be a plot ! I am gonna go back to stock install and run with that, alone.
Just find it sick, about the sorry way this has been handled. in CFS1 & 2 , you can fly it no matter what "you" have  loaded.  Now they patch this , and mixed up something so I havent been flying but alone.
sorry. maybe a new patch will resolve it. keep checking back here, for it. ( thats my hope, too )
