Downloading problem (Read 868 times)

I'm not sure if it's my modem or what, but my cpu just stopped downloading zip files and everything. I have aol as my browser. what is wrong?

Not sure but seems someone had posted a similar problem and they too were using AOL. Can't remember the responses on it and can't find the post. But I will venture a guess it is an AOL issue and not your comp. Possibly one of AOL's dreaded "Time Outs".
I haven't used anything buy IE as my browser.  Try using IE and see if you still have the same problem.

It is not your computer , it is a bad habit that AOL has against long downloads .I put up with it for 2 years and I let them have it back.
  One day I was looking through utilities here at Simviation and I found a utility that is suppose to block them from disconnecting .
  I also found out that all internet services do it except one. I have never tried it  [ EARTHLINK ]
