Great!  Shocked

No! not that kataro's leaving  Wink, obviously I'm saddened to see that. Sad

I am however filled with great respect for somebody astute enough to see how important a good education is.
Put another way, what building stands tall with poor foundations......?

Wink

I wasted my oppertunity to "get the grades" and have deeply regretted it ever since.

Go for it  kataro!

Chief topic-locker eh? Hmm.... Wink

I'm sure gonna miss your planes Bonzonie, they truly were the best.  But I understand that you have to have your priorities-that has really slowed my design learning, so I'm going through the same thing.  I'm just sorry that there will be no GMAX B-52.   Cry

I'm not sure what will happen to the B-52 and A-7. I'm going to send out the source files to the Beta testers and then they can decide what to do with them.

I can guess that you will be back building next summer. At least I hope so. Oh yeah, send me that F-15 FSDS file, and I'll see what I can do about making it into an F-15F. I'll just add that to my plane building hanger

You guys are making me weepy with all these goodbyes. Cry Cry

He says he's not leaving the forums, just giving up designing.....at least I hope you won't drift too far from the forums, Kotaro.

Thanks again for your help with Japanese translation.  Your "personal pride" is still very much intact:  you're definitely the best "online" translator! Grin

If you ever have any trouble with any of the countless screwy English idioms or grammar rules, etc. (which I doubt Cheesy), I'll put my pride on the line too (going from English to English--not Japanese to English! Shocked)--just send me an IM or email Wink.

Sorry Blade, but I only intend to send the A-7E and B-52H Gmax files to the Beta testers. I owe them one..... You can always try one of the files in the FSC adoption page, or over at FFDS. Lots of geat examples.

I envy you young blokes with all your exciting lives ahead of you - with all this great technology to make the world such a small place, and the calibre of the boys I've come across in SimV, it can only turn out to be a better century than the last one.

No. Posting Gmax files would mean I have to check each one to see if there aren't any problems in Gmax.....

You can always ask someone to convert the files though.

Well, in my opinion Bonzonie has made the right choice.  He knows that he must have his priorties and he has obviosuly chose school over flight sims.  Although I hate to see him stop designing, I really admire your ability to make this decision Kotaro-I know it must be very hard.

Yes, it's been damned difficult making the decision.

But this doesn't mean I'm gone for good Wink You can always count on me coming back sometime, and I sure as hell will try my best not to lose any of that hard-earned modeling skill Grin

yes, you can keep that skill by maybe finishing the B-52, you know put in a hour on a weekend or something, it will be slow work, but it will get done and you will keep your skills in shape

That's still too tough. Fact is, I don't have any time for aircraft. Just some playing around with shapes and stuff like that for the 10-min break Roll Eyes

It's not only the studying killing me, it's the darned school activities as well!!

You have been an inspiration to all us designers, if I had the time required to do my Blackbird to the same level of craftsmanship and quality as your B52 I'd be a very happy man!

Good luck with your studies, hope you frequent the forums regularly because I'm always in need of advice!!!!
