Somehow I'm missing my AI aircraft from everywhere. I went on to fly today and nothing shows up. Am I missing a file somewhere?

Make sure the AI slider is turned up high enough.

Have you deleted or modified any files?

A system restore might work but I don't use it so I don't know which files it restores.

FS 2002.

...and are the Airline and General Aviation boxes ticked in the drop-down Menu; Options > Settings > Traffic?

This rings a bell. Look in your FS2002\Aircraft directory for a file named default.dp. If it's missing you can replace it from your FS2002 CD-1. I believe it's in a file named Aircraft.cab.
