Nope!.... ;D...! The reason I have such a vast collection of musical instruments, (in addition to everything else) is because I never sell, or get rid of anything... ;D...! I just accumulate everything!... ;D...! Paul...The Collector of Everything! ... ;D... ;D...! |

I play all my instruments at some time or other...
Some are easier than others. Brass and Reed instruments I sometimes struggle with, but no problems with Keyboards, Strings, Flutes (Recorders, etc), Percussion, etc... :)...! I have more than a dozen keyboards of various types, Pianos, many Synthesizers, and Organs. Paul...blowing my own Trumpet! |

A wise man once said to me, "Never sell what you may never find again."
My personal take is: "Wimmen leave ya, bosses fire ya, pets die on ya, but man, ya get yourself a good geetar and hell, it'll luv you forever!" Unfortunately, such advice is hard to heed when space and security considerations prevail. Among the incredible instruments I've had and sold (before the value of each went through the roof): 1954 Gibson gold Les Paul, 1954 (with P-90 soapbar pickups) 1968 Gibson Black Beauty Les Paul (with humbucker pickups) 1967 Gibson ES335 (traded it even for the '62 ES335) 1962 Gibson ES335 (traded it & $300 to get the '54 Paul) 1965 Fender Jaguar (bought new, it saw something like 80 gigs in the late 60's) 1976 Robert Ruck cedar top classical guitar 1980 Robert Ruck spruce top classical guitar Year unknown Martin D-35S acoustic guitar (with a 3-piece rosewood back) Those were the real prizes, all original, no "re-issues", and today collectively would be worth a fortune. Many other miscellaneous guitars, some OK, some not OK, came and went over the years. I look at this list and just wanna cry. |
