Title: Goodbye to HRT
Post by andy190 on Dec 2nd, 2012 at 4:15am
The FIA has published the 2013 Entry List with HRT missing from the line-up due to not paying their entry fee in time.

HRT has been in financial strife since it inception & were only holding on to a Pit Box by the skin of their teeth.

Last month it was announced that the Team was for sale.

HRT's technical director, Toni Cuquerella, tweeted:
"Four years ago I suggested to a friend to make an F1 team. Today after three seasons he has written the last page of HRT."

HRT holds the unenviable record of most Grand Prix Starts without scoring.

To be honest I'm not going to miss them, what’s the point of having a team not qualifying for the first race & then being six seconds of the pace.

In the last couple of races, they have even been menaces with Brake Failures & the like.

At least Marussia & Caterham are showing signs of improvement.

Teams come and go. It'll make passing the back markers less amusing however...
