Title: Gauge conversion. FS 2004 to FSX.
Post by Fozzer on Apr 28th, 2012 at 3:53am
Hello Panel Gauge Designers/modifiers... :)...!

Can gauges designed for FS '98/2000/2002/2004 be converted/modified in any way, to display in FSX?

Two of my favourite FS '98 >> FS 2004, gauges, which I refit to many/most of my FS 2004 aircraft, are as follows:

(1) f162k.config.gau  (An F16 [Kirk Olson] gauge to graphically show the deployment, or not, of the Undercarriage, Flaps, and Spoiler/Air-brake).

(2) radalt2.gau  (A very simple horizontal strip, showing the (Radar) height from the ground, using a digital readout).

The above gauges were designed for FS 2004 and earlier models.

I would dearly love to be able to add these gauges to many/most of my FSX aircraft, using my FS Panel Studio!
(At the moment, neither gauge is compatible with FSX).

Any ideas, Chums. Can it be done by experts in Gauge design/modification?...(Note:..I am not one of them!).

Many thanks for any help!... ;)...

Paul....FS 2004/FSX... 8-)...!
