I like the look of it :) so are you planning on placing a landable surface on the model and then put it in FS just a fraction above the FS ground level?
Just curious about how a runway mdl will work! |

What I'm thinking is probably the same as you. Maybe he'll put this a few mm above the designated runway in FS & it will look like it's the real runway when the AI actually uses the one underneath. |

The only issue with that is that from experience it has to be a substantial amount above the ground as otherwise all sorts of display problems start surfacing... But if it is to high the ai planes may have issues. |
