Title: Autogen and photoscenery in FSX
Post by jrom on Jan 28th, 2012 at 3:29pm
Lately I have been making some photoscenery of the area imediately around my house. Being very happy with how the imagery (which is from this past summer\fall, pretty good for 15 minutes from the nearest town that's already out in the middle of nowhere) and how the blend and watermasks have come out, I wanted to place some autogen.

Using the Autogen Antonator, I placed some trees and buildings in my scenery. However, when I fly in sim, they aren't there. I have the autogen slider at max, and just to see if it would help, I put MAX_AUTOGEN_TREES_PER_CELL=4500, but they aren't there.

So does FSX\SbuilderX automatically put an exclude over photoscenery, or am I just doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Never mind, it was a PICAC error.  :-X :D

The .agn file made by the antonater needs to be placed in the "texture" folder, not the "scenery" folder.
