I want to make a new banner out of four photos, but i want them to "blur" into each other. I only have Gimp, so can some one help me out please?

I'm not an expert, but sounds like a job for layer masks, which make no sense to me so I can't help you. I'm sure someone else here could enlighten us

you COULD download paint.net and easily find a tutorial,its free!

Take a look and see if there is a function called 'Stitch' it's sometimes called that.
