Title: Installing downloaded scenery
Post by RAFAIR100 on May 30th, 2010 at 5:04am
I have a number of downloaded WWII airfields I would like to install.      Currently, these files are in a newly created folder 'Addon Scenery'.      I have taken the path directly from the address bar but, when I try to add any of these files using 'In Flight, Alt, Files. Add', I get a message telling me that I have entered an invalid path.      Would anyone care to set me straight?

My CFS Scenery Clinic might help. http://www.simviation.com/lair/CFSsc.htm

Create a new folder on your C:\ drive named Addon. To activate scenery areas installed in the Addon folder use the path exactly as shown in the tute.
For example:  c:\addon\crusoe\scenery\*.bgl
(crusoe is the name of the parent folder of the scenery area.)

Thank you Hagar.     May you have a thousand sons and may the bird of happiness fly up your nose.
