Did the download plus four "chunks" of scenery but my terrasync folder is empty. Seeems like I need that to install scenery?

Took a look, as recommended, and didn't learn a whole lot. Seems that Terrasync is a 'realtime' method of downloading the 'latest' scenery and is an option to using that stored in the game. All well and good but they're assuming I can read between lines. Think I'll hang tough for a while until it's explained in more layman-like language.
