Title: science fiction question?
Post by ALROT on Jun 18th, 2005 at 12:05pm
Would be possible to interfase artificial Horizont(gauge)with some kind of output  foe ex:VIA USB,in order to conect hidraulic things to move an entirely cockpit as a real virtual pilots cockpit training?

That should be possible.
Although I'm not sure the Artificial Horizon is enough to provide correct cockpit positioning.

The effects of Gs put on the pilot maneuvering, accelerating or decelerating affects our internal gyro fooling the brain to think it's traveling in a diffirent direction than what (s)he actually is. (This is what causes motion sickness). Those effects can not be simulated with the AH alone. Or so I believe
